Changing the temperature unit on the Curacao Weather app

Some people have asked about how to make the app show Fahrenheit (°F) vs. Celsius (°C).

To start with: by default, the app already uses the “correct” units, based on the regional setting of your iPhone. If your phone is set to, say ”United States”, you will see °F, Miles and Miles per Hour. If it is set to Dutch, Curaçao, or really most other locales, you will see °C, kilometers and km/h by default.

Now, you *can* change this in two ways:

(1) you can change the region for your phone, to affect how *all * (well-written) apps will show units (and other region-specific information): go to “Settings|General|Region & Language” on your iPhone and change the region to your liking.

(2) you can also override how *just* the Curaçao Weather App shows units: go “Settings|Curaçao Weather” and change the “Display Units” setting from “Default based on Locale” to either “Metric (°C, km)” or to “Imperial (°F, miles)”.

The *next* update for the app will add an additional option to toggle wind speeds to be shown in Knots, instead of mph or km/h, as well.
